The Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve hereby informs the general public that, in accordance with the Hanifaru Management Regulation, the Hanifaru Marine Protected Area, including access to Hanifaru Island, will be closed on 18 February 2026, in observance of the first day of Ramadan.

We kindly request all visitors, tour operators, and stakeholders to take note of this closure and plan accordingly.
