Preparations are currently underway to bring back the Manta Festival this year.

The Festival is a joint initiative led by key partners: the Manta Trust, Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Office, Maldives Manta Conservation Programme, Baa Atoll Council, and Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, together with supporting resort sponsors from across Baa Atoll.

The revival of the Festival seeks to celebrate the region’s iconic manta rays, promote marine conservation, and foster collaboration between local communities, researchers, and the tourism sector.
