Secretariat of the South Maalhosmadulu Atoll Council has once again led the way — taking a powerful step forward in protecting our environment and promoting ocean conservation through action and awareness.

History was made as 623 participants came together at Villingilifaru Finolhu for the Baani Event, officially breaking the Guinness World Record for the most people snorkeling simultaneously across multiple venues!

Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve Office are proud to be an official partner in this historic initiative a celebration of our community spirit and our enduring commitment to the ocean that sustains us.
